This project involves a range of techniques. The background is created using half treble crochet throughout and can be made to any size. Worked individually, the clouds are appliquéd in place. Carry materials for the clouds in your bag to create when you are out and about.
Before blocking: 16 hdc and 10 rows measure 10 cm (4 in).
After blocking: 14 hdc and 9 rows measure 10 cm (4 in).
Baby: 90 cm (36 in) square.
Crib: 112.5 cm (45 in) square.
Lap: 135 cm (54 in) square.
If the chain or stitch count differs for each size, the counts are given together, in order of project size as follows: Baby (Crib, Lap).
The number of Clouds you will need depends on the size of blanket. Start by making 24 Clouds, place them onto the blanket and make more as required.
