To make this I first formed a box out of cardboard before covering it with fabric and then lining it with a matching felt. I finshed it with ribbons to close it which are secured at the ends between the cardboard and the felt lining and a pretty little bow on top. The box would not close properly at first but since we have drilled a small hole in the front to pull the bottom ribbon thorugh so that the ribbons can be tied further down.
