Our Bloody Mary ketchup combines spices and vodka for extra punch and tastes great on sweet potato fries.

Instructions

    Chop the onion and garlic and fry with some olive oil until golden.

    Stir in the spices.

    Stir in the tinned tomatoes and tomato puree.

    Add the vinegar, lime juice, sugar, tabasco and leave to simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has reduced to half the quantity.

    Add the vodka and leave to simmer for another 5 minutes.

    Blend until smooth and then bottle.

    Chop the sweet potatoes into thin sticks. Coat with cornmeal and season with sea salt, black pepper, paprika and dried herbs. Bake in an oven for 45 minutes, removing and shaking halfway through.
