one-of-a-kind art for a coffee station
Painting with a bleach pen is a fun way to stencil anything on fabric. The burlap used for this sign is a nod to coffee bean bags and fits perfectly above our coffee station. Oh and if you're wondering why I chose a pheasant? Well, we rent and live in a granny chic old farmhouse apartment. The pheasants are a nod to the vintage, peeling wallpaper.

Use a printout as guide for lettering and place it under the burlap. You should be able to faintly see it through the burlap. Write over it with a permanent marker.

  • Step 8

Stretch the back of the burlap over the back of the frame and staple with a staple gun. You'll need quite a few staples. Try and stretch as evenly as possible. Otherwise, the letters might have a slight slant.
