I decided to try out this whole bleach dye DIY thing for myself and create a custom tank top. I have always wanted a shirt that featured some of my favorite Copeland lyrics, and this is the best way to do it!

So the first step is to place a piece of cardboard in between the front of the shirt and the back of shirt so the bleach doesn't leak through or get on your surface. Next draw out your design or words in chalk on the shirt. This part can be a little tricky and may take a while so be patient. All of the chalk will wash out so don't worry if you make mistakes! Now trace over your sketch with a small paint brush dipped in non-diluted bleach. Go slowly and use plenty of bleach. You may need to go over your lines multiple times. Slowly, you will see your design appear as you brush. The second thing I did was took my shirt outside and splatterd the shirt with bleach from the paint brush to get the "starry" effect. Some designs may turn orange, some may turn blue or some may turn white. It depends on the fabric, the dye used for the fabric and the amount of bleach you use while painting on your design. This was honestly a very simple project. The only time consuming part was writing it out in chalk. But the bleaching didn't take more than 25 minutes.

Wash it and then model it ;)
