Inspired by a bouquet of black roses from Columbia Road Flower Market, this look is achieved by creating a purple to black gradient with Mod Squad and Coffin Breaks finished with a few silver drops of You Go-Go.
Inspired by a bouquet of black roses from Columbia Road Flower Market, this look is achieved by creating a purple to black gradient with Mod Squad and Coffin Breaks finished with a few silver drops of You Go-Go.
Begin by painting your nails with a coat of the lightest colour. I used sparkly purple nail polish, Mod Squad from Cupcake Polish
Now paint a line of sparkly purple nail polish and a line of sparkly black nail polish onto a sponge applicator. I used Coffin Break from Cupcake Polish.
Carefully place the painted side of the sponge on top of your nail.
Repaint the sponge and repeat for the remaining nails.
This step is optional but if you want to add a couple of rain drops to your nails. Pour out a little silver nail polish and get a toothpick. I'm using Look At You Go-Go from Cupcake Polish.
Carefully dab a few drops of silver on each nail with the toothpick. Less is more with this one.
Finish with your favourite clear topcoat and you're done!
