Black Lace Choker

I bought some beautiful lace and found some old wine red ribbon the same width...so what else are you supposed to do other than sew them together and make a choker?

I bought some beautiful lace and found some old wine red ribbon the same width...so what else are you supposed to do other than sew them together and make a choker?

Instructions

1. First, take your measuring tape and measure around your neck at the place you want your choker to sit, make sure not to make it too tight.

2. Then, cut both your ribbon and your lace to that measurement.

3. Sew the lace to the ribbon, making sure to line up the top of the lace with the top of the ribbon. However, my lace was kind of ruffled so I had some extra ribbon at the end - if yours is like this, don't worry. It worked a lot better for the 'clasp'

4. Now that you've got it all sewn on, sew on the two jewelry clasps, making sure that they don't fray the ribbon.

5. And voila! You're done!
