I had a mermaid charm that I had gotten a few years ago at the Ren Faire, but hadn't decided what to do with it yet. As I was working on this year's Halloween costume I came up with an idea for this necklace.

Description

I had a mermaid charm that I had gotten a few years ago at the Ren Faire, but hadn't decided what to do with it yet. As I was working on this year's Halloween costume I came up with an idea for this necklace.

Instructions

1. 

   I fashioned a jump ring on the mermaid charm so that it would hang from the necklace.

2. 

   I attached the mermaid charm to a small piece of chain that will hang on the center using the black rings.

3. 

   I beaded two jewelry pins with the green seed beads and then attached them to each end of the short black chain.

4. At the end of these I attached thin jewelry wire and beaded them with more green seed beads.

5. 

   I attached black clasps to the end of each wire at the desired length.
