Birdie Tracks Christmas Tree Skirt

Did a little bird hop through the snow under your Christmas tree? You'd think so with this simple fleece and yarn creation
Cut a generous circle of white fleece. Make a cardboard template of a pair of wee birdie feet and mark out their path with a disappearing ink marker. Grab the color of yarn you like--I chose a light blue for the chilly tracks. Stitch in the tracks with a large needle doing each toe separately. Cut a slot from center to edge to fit it around your tree and you're done! Perfect for Scrooges since you won't want to hide these charming tracks with piles of gifts! ;)
