This project began with the bird ornament pattern provided by Inspirecompany in V1 issue 16 of her online magazine. After printing out the birds on card stock I choose to print selected Christmas sheet music on the back. The tutorial uses found papers, but I needed mass production. I created 50 of these little darlings, then on the same weight card stock designed a card on which to mount them. I printed that batch out and folded them in half. After the birds had dried over night I flat folded them as seen in the main image and tucked each of their wing tips into clear photo corners. I then pressed them in place on the card so that there was enough tension to keep the bird in place. They popped up a little, but I liked that effect. They all mailed just fine with standard postage. The whole family loved them! I received calls and letters about them which made the hours of work worth it! Prep on the computer was about 30min, construction for each card was about 10min not counting over night drying time. I think you could customize the card and music to fit any occasion!
