When I saw this scarf in the Winter 2006 issue of Knitty I knew I had to accomplish this. I forget how long it took me to accomplish this, but once you have the hang of it, time really flies by. I even translated 'I love you' to Binary.

This is perfect! Now when s/he is older s/he will be unable to describe why s/he is drawn to the allure of binary. Working out that retirement plan, huh? I love it.

People love it. They stop to give you compliments on it, and of course ask if you can make them one. It takes a long time, and I even had to put it down for a while (a few months), but once it was finished I wore it everyday for a month. Lol. Thanks ;D

That is amazing! I want to make one now...I once saw a window painted up advertising a bar's trivia night. It said "Find your inner nerd." I sent a picture of it to my sister and she said "I don't think you have an inner nerd....I think yours is pretty much out in the open." Yep. I think if I made this scarf, it would be like a flashing neon sign of geeky/nerdiness. I love it.
