You Will Need (5 things)

  • 0.5 inch thick or smaller Double Sided Sticky Tape
  • strong all purpose Glue
  • Sewing Needle
  • 12 in Lace
  • Fabric Glue

Steps (9 steps, 35 minutes)

  1. 1

First pick out the fabric, here I used a poka doted one to match the skirt I made. But really you can use which ever fabric you like.

Cut the fabric 24 inch in length and 4 inch in width.

  2. 2

measure half an inch pin and sew an then repeat on the other side so you will have neat edges. or you can leave them raw. I used a simple straight stitch. you dont need to sew the width just the length.

Then fold the fabric in half and stitch along the same line. This will make your fabric thicker if its thin.

  3. 3

lay your fabric out and then place you lace how you would like it. Have a play with it until your happy.

  4. 4

then fold the ends of the fabric to the middle then sew down the middle to keep it in place lace and all.

  5. 5

one you have sewn it turn it over and this is what you should have.

  6. 6

Grab your bow and pich it in the middle to creat that bow look, once your happy with the middle. Using needle and thread hand sew it losesly and pull to garther the fabric, wrap the thread around the middle a few times and sew it in place.

  7. 7

    (sorry bad pic)

then a cut a small piece of fabric 4 inch in length and 1.5 inch wide.

I used double sided tape, which was half an inch wide place that in the middle and fold the fabric in to it, to give neat edges. I found this was the easier way then stitching a small piece of fabric.

Then place the fabric in the middle wrap it round and cut off extra. I used all purpose glue at the back to hold it in place.

  8. 8

I then used a hair grip sliding it in between the middle of the fabric and bow when the glue was still wet.

you can how ever use other clips or glue it to a head band.

  9. 9

you can even add extra rhinestones to the lace design, i add silver rhinestone to the middle of the flower on my lace design. once dry you can wear it.

    Then off you go.

I hopw this has help others and if you have any question feel free to ask. :) or if there is a simpler way let me know.

Thanks for looking, hopfully I will post more stuff in the future.
