13 oz Self-Raising Flour 13 oz Sugar 3 tsp Baking Powder 1/4 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda 1/2 tsp Salt 8 oz Butter Softened 1 tbsp Vanilla 10 fl oz Milk Room temp 3 fl oz Oil 3 eggs Room temp

Description

You can fill the cake with jam, cream, buttercream or chocolate.

Instructions

1. 

   Heat oven 335/170 degrees. Place 4 oz of milk & oil in a cup. Set aside. Mix together remaining milk, vanilla & eggs. Set aside.

2. 

   In a stand mixer Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarb & salt.

3. 

   Slowly add the butter until it resembles sand.

4. 

   Add milk & oil to the mixture. Mix for 2 full mins.

5. 

   Add 1/3 of the egg mixture. Continue until all egg is used.

6. 

   Pour into tins & bake for 25 mins until cooked through.

7. 

   Stack the cake with jam & cream.

8. 

   Sprinkle with icing sugar.

9. 

   Cut & serve.
