Basicaly I fingernitted bells from spotlight into the braclet. I usally use them as anklets so that when I walk, run or (very rarly)dance I make a nice dinging noise. I can do a how to on it, If anyone wants me to. Just post a comment.

You need to about two metres of string or wool. if your're using anything particaly thin you will need to cut a longer piece. At one end make a loop that can fit loosly around your finger. If you find this hard try tying it around a pencil. A simple double knot works fine.
Then put the loop made on your finger (because this is basicaly fingernitting)
Then using the big bit of the string loop one loop in front of the knoted loop.
Then pull the fist loop over the newer loop.
Then pull the newer loop and tighten NOTE the first loop will still remain loose but when you repeat steps 3,4 and 5 that's finger knitting. (finger knitting is quite simular to french knitting)
When you've fingernited about ten centermetres it's time to add on the bell. Thread the bell onto the string
Then just do normal finger knitting make a loop with the bell on it.and pull the old loop over the bell. tighten the stich and then make a new loop, pull the old loop with the bell on it over the new loop. And tighten.
Then keep finger knitting. For my braclets I have five bells on them, with two and a half to three centermetres of finger knitting between each bell, and then about ten centermetres at each end
To tye of the braclet/anklet take the loop of your finger (be carful not to pull the string, that unravels it).
then thread the excess string in the loop and then loop the string around the loop at least twice.
NOW you pull the string and tighten the loop and knot.
then your done.
