Cheap and cheerful!
My daughter has recently been given a queen size bed but I didn't have a nice duvet cover for her double duvet. I used her old single duvet cover and a double sheet to make this patchwork duvet cover. Serious amount of patience and attention to measuring/cutting needed! (well it seemed like it to me - I'm not used to big things, or measuring!)

The headboard was a horrible brown velour thing so that got covered with a fabric remnant and felt hearts. I love my new staple gun. The headboard took hardly any time at all.

Very cute! The bed looks so comfy, too.
