Description

my nephew has 'bear'...and never leaves home with out it...everytime i see it, i think 'how easy'...and it was...

Instructions

  1. Small dscf2354 1237321893

you will need *soft fabric for head and main blanket * pink scrap for inner ear * 2 buttons for eyes *scissors * thread to match * cute print for border of blanket

  2. Small dscf2357 1237322109

i did not use a pattern for this project...i just sortof went with it...its a crappy picture but you can see that the head is just a circle with a little extra on one side for the nose.

  3. Small dscf2358 1237322250

cut two head pieces out of your soft fleecey fabric...and 4 ear pieces.

  4. Small dscf2359 1237322308

from your cute print you will need to cut or rip strips that are 4 inches wide and very long...and out of your fleshy pink you will need 2 small circles.

  5. Small dscf2362 1237322582

next turn your soft fabric...faces in and sew around edge...leaving an inch or so open...and with the ears...sew just around the curve. turn right side out and stuff. i ran out of stuffing so i just used scrap fabric.

  6. Small dscf2364 1237322505

hand sew the ears on your head

  7. Small dscf2367 1237322604

next you will stitch the buttons on for eyes...you dont need to but i also stitched a nose and a smile..lastly for the head you will need to sew the inner ears with just a quick whip stitch.

  8. Small dscf2368 1237322738

i cut a 16 by 16 inch square of soft fabric and took my strips of cutie fabric and sewed a border around the whole thing...

  9. Small dscf2369 1237322856

last step is stitching head to center of blanket...and there you have it...the sweetest little tag-along you ever did see...
