I would advise to a pack of plastic beads. If you are going to make a turtle magnet, definitely use plastic beads because the crystal/glass beads will weigh it down too much. I used the magnets that can be found on the bottom of some shower curtains. On all of my postings no matter how many times I try to fix the supply lists, they always end up wrong, so I will post it here: 120cm of monofilament 31 tan beads 6mm 25 purple beads 6mm 2 black round beads 5mm Optional: 1 headpin+1 purple bead or a magnet
