Description

Make elegant pearl Beaded Teardrop Earrings with 5 easy-to-follow steps! Perfect for coordinating with your bridal party colours!

Instructions

  1. Start off by cutting two pieces of your bead stringing wire that measure 5 inches in length. I am using Beadalon brand stringing wire in a bright silver colour.

  2. Small 109182 2f2015 06 03 215418 step%2b2

Add your pearl beads onto each piece of stringing wire. Place your 8mm pearl in the center, with a 6mm pearl on both sides, followed by a 4mm pearl on both sides. At the end of this step, your earrings should look like the picture on the left.

  3. Small 109182 2f2015 06 03 215439 step%2b3%2b 26%2b4

Take one of your now beaded stringing wires and thread both ends through a crimp to form a teardrop shape. Repeat this step for your second piece of stringing wire. Take one of your beaded teardrops and carefully thread the ends of your stringing wire back through the crimp to form a petite loop at the top. Secure the stringing wire in place by flattening the crimp with your Flat Nosed Pliers. Trim off any excess stringing wire. Repeat this step with your second teardrop

  4. Place a crimp cover over each crimp and gently close using your Flat Nosed Pliers

  5. Small 109182 2f2015 06 03 215546 step%2b6

Using your Flat Nosed Pliers, attach a completed teardrop to each earwire.
