I really love making these as they are simple to make and cute to wear! These can be worn all year round and can be made using many different colours to go with any outfit or style! I ordered my Skull Beads at www.addiebeads.com , this is an Irish company but they also deliver to the UK and Europe, although unfortunately not outside Europe. I'm sure you could buy skull beads online somewhere else if you're outside Europe! If you have any questions or requests please feel free to ask! Happy beading! :)

Instructions

  1. Small 014

Gather up all the supplies needed onto a suitable flat surface.

  2. Small 015

String on beads to a head pin in the following order: 1 seed bead -> 1 skull bead -> 4 seed beads. You can choose any colours you like for this!

  3. Small 016

Using wire cutters or a scissors (Although this may damage the scissors!) cut off the excess from the head pin as shown in the picture. Approximately cut off 1cm. Make sure there is enough left to create a loop for the following step!

  4. Small 017

Bend the head pin back slightly using the round nose pliers and begin to make a loop with the metal.

  5. Small 018

The loop should end up looking like this. Make sure that it is secure and there is no gap in the loop. You can use the chain nose pliers for this.

  6. Small 019

Now take your earring hook and using the chain nose pliers, separate the loop on it and hook it with the loop on your head pin. Secure both loops so that they cannot come apart. Again you can use the chain nose pliers for this step.

  7. Small 028

Repeat the above step again for the second earring and then you are done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! :)
