    Finished Dimensions-
    He sits about 9 inches tall and 11 inches wide. Makes a good snuggle buddy. :)

    Materials-
    I used Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in "soft white" with a US8/6mm circular needle (feel free to switch out with DPNs). You will also need scissors, a tapestry/darning needle, two 12mm safety eyes,polyester filling, and small amounts of black and red yarn.

    Abbreviations-
    STS - Stitches
    K - Knit
    KFB - Knit front and back
    K2Tog - Knit 2 sts together

  • Step 2

    Ok, Let's get started!-

    Body: With white yarn, cast on 4 sts and join in a round.
    Round 1: KFB all sts (8)
    Even rounds 2-14: Knit around
    Round 3: KFB all sts (16)
    Round 5: KFB, K1 around (24)
    Round 7: KFB, K2 around (32)
    Round 9: KFB, K3 (40)
    Round 11: KFB, K4 (48)
    Round 13: KFB, K5 (56)
    Round 15: KFB, K6 (64)
    Rounds 16-20: Knit around
    Round 21: KFB, K7 (72)
    Rounds 22-34: Knit around
    Round 35: K2Tog, K10 (66)
    Even rounds 36-52: Knit around

    Safety eyes: Place them in round 15 one increase seam away from each other.

    Break yarn leaving an 18" tail and pull through remaining sts.

    With black yarn, embroider a mouth between his eyes. Weave in black yarn.

  • Step 4

    Feet (make 2):
    With white yarn, cast on 4 sts and join in a round.
    Round 1: KFB (8)
    Even rounds 2-6: Knit around
    Round 3: KFB, K1 (12)
    Round 5: KFB, K2 (16)
    Round 7: KFB, K3 (20)
    Rounds 8-11: Knit around
    Round 12: K2Tog, K3 (16)
    Odd rounds 13-15: Knit around
    Round 14: K2Tog, K2 (12)
    Round 16: K2Tog, K1 (8)

    Break yarn leaving a 12" tail for sewing. Pull through remaining sts.

    Arms (make 2):
    With white yarn, cast on 4 sts and join in a round.

    Fill with stuffing

    Break yarn leaving a 12" tail for sewing. Pull through remaining sts.

  • Step 6

    Details-

    Fingers (make 4):
    With white, cast on 8 sts.
    Knit one row
    Bind off.

    Thumbs (make 2):
    With white, cast on 6 sts.
    Knit one row
    Bind off.

    Heart:
    With white, cast on 4 sts and join in a round.
    Round 1: KFB all sts (8)
    Round 2: Knit around
    Round 3: KFB all sts (16)
    Round 4: Bind off all sts
    Break yarn leaving a 12" tail.

  • Step 7

    Finishing:
    Whip stitch head to body.

    Sew legs to the 6th increase on the bottom of the body 2 increase seams apart.

    Sew arms down onto opposite sides of the body. Sew fingers and thumbs into the "hands."

    Sew white circle onto the left side of his chest. With red, embroider a heart on it.

    Weave in all loose ends. :)
