I play a sport called dagorhir and garb is essential to the whole experience. I love to toy around with new workable fashions that look good on the field and dont trip you when weilding a weapon.
Buy a cheap ankle-length skirt. You can usually find them at a decent price at Good-will or Salvation army.
Usually they'll have a short slit on one side,for leg usage I cut the slits higher up to just under my hip area.
Next you'll want to hem the skirt. That is if its not too long. You want it to be about an inch and a half above your ankles so you don't trip when running.
Then along the seams you cut, pin that.
Sew!
Ta da! You're done! Go out and fighT!
