Turn your old books into a flourishing garden.
Gather a couple of your boring old thick books.
Mix 3 parts Elmer's Glue with 1 part water.
Using a paint brush, paint glue mixture to the outside of the book pages with the book closed.
Use a straightedge and draw out a square in the center of the first page of the book allowing 1 inch to the edge.
With a sharp box cutter, cut pages along the lines. You will have to cut in sections as you go leaving enough pages for the bottom.
Apply spray glue inside the book center and place plastic film inside.
Plant your favorite potted plant inside and water carefully. The plastic will allow the book to hold water.
