Bark Heart Brooch

I enjoy creating DIY from items found all around me. When I found a lovely piece of cedar bark I couldn't resist creating a wearable treasure.

Bark Brooch Back Scissors Mod Podge

Instructions

1. 

   Select a piece of bark (I used cedar)

2. Apply a dense coat of mod podge to the outer portion of the bark Allow to dry

3. 

   Cut out your heart. (The mod podge will help make this a easier process)

4. 

   Apply mod podge to the inner portion of the bark heart. This will ensure the little wood fragments to not move Allow to dry

5. 

   Take a pin back and apply hot glue Apply to the outer portion of heart and hold
