How to make baptism favors.
One of the many traditions of the baptism ceremony in Greece is the baptism favors that are given to guests. They are called "martirika" in Greek which means that you are a witness of the baptism. Traditionally they are pins but these days more and more people choose to give bracelets too for the women. These bracelets can be made in many ways but they have to incorporate a cross and be easy-to-wear.

    Step 1

Gather your materials. Charms are optional, I chose a small baby-foot charm and a cute tassel. If you use charms you'll need jumprings too.

Measure the cord to your wrist and then make two sliding knots making the bracelet adjustable. Cut off any excess cord. Burn the edges so they don't fray.
