  • How to revamp a pair of lace-up shoes. Ballerina Shoes - Step 1
    Step 1

    You'll need:
    1. Flats (these are from Target)
    2. Elastic that matches
    3. Scissors
    4. Hot glue gun

  • Step 2

    First, put the shoe on and wrap the elastic around your foot as shown. Cut the elastic so it's long enough to fit inside your shoe on each end.

    Now take another piece of elastic and make a loop out of it that the width of your elastic will fit through.

    Cut it at the appropriate length and glue that loop together.

    Now glue the loop in the heel of your shoe.

    Take that first piece of elastic you cut and thread it through the loop.

    Put the shoe back on to see where you need to glue the ends. Make sure they criss-cross over your foot.

    Glue those suckers in place!
