Garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas) are great, that much is true, but they are a lot greater when they are spruced up with some spices and baked to a crispy perfection. Check out this delicious recipe featuring a special video tutorial! Hope you enjoy :)
Garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas) are great, that much is true, but they are a lot greater when they are spruced up with some spices and baked to a crispy perfection. Check out this delicious recipe featuring a special video tutorial! Hope you enjoy :)
Set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Empty a can of garbanzo beans into a strainer and wash them well. You can quickly throw them onto a pan and rub them gently with a paper towel to take the skins off, but that is not necessary.
Mix all of your spices in a small bowl and set to the side.
Spread your beans on a large baking sheet, no parchment paper is necessary. Drizzle a generous helping (about 1 tablespoon) of olive oil onto the beans and then shake the pan to coat them evenly. Sprinkle them with your spice mixture and shake the pan again to coat them evenly.
Bake them for 20-25 minutes. Once they are golden brown and crisp take them out and let them cool. Serve them once they are completely cool. They'll be gone in flash, that we can assure you. ;)
There you go, now you've got some amazing baked garbanzo beans!! Check out our video tutorial. :)
