Baked Kale Chips

Ingredients

1 bunch kale
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt

    Preheat an oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper or tinfoil (optinal).

    With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Lightly coat ( I used an oil sprayer) kale with olive oil.

    Lightly sprinkle with sea salt (also optional) Some times I add a little sugar to get the sweet/salty flavour.

    Bake until dry and crunchy. Check on them often, they will burn quickly.

I forgot to mention, flowering kale works great too.. it makes bigger and slightly thicker 'chips' and is very colourful.
