Colored or brown paper bags that are 6x6 in size, any kind of 6x6 paper, embellishments, stickers, cardstock, tags, asst. ribbon, glue, scissors, paper cutter, and what ever else you like.
Colored or brown paper bags that are 6x6 in size, any kind of 6x6 paper, embellishments, stickers, cardstock, tags, asst. ribbon, glue, scissors, paper cutter, and what ever else you like.
First get you a brown or colored paper bag that measures,6x6, in size the bag should only consit of three bags that size or larger, you can make your own or buy them on ebay.
Gather the correct materials needed for making the book, you will need asst.paper 6x6 (or you can use 12x12 cut to size)cardstock white or colored, good paper scissors, paper cutter, good quality glue stick ,and a good gel ink pen to start. Also make you a 6x6 pattern out of cardstock or cardboard for your template.
Next cut out all your 6x6 papers, and cardstock for the back of it for durability,glue them to together, either you may sew them together using the zigzag or straight line which ever you perfer i like the zigzag,on the outter edge not to close to the edge, if no sewing machine you can just glue it.
next step, is to make pockets if you want like i did and sew this on, do not glue this down cause then it wont make a pocket, if no sewing machine, to sew pocket you can just make a plain, page and add just diecuts, stickers and ribbon or whatever , i show a pocket here, and i had made slots with a craft knife to slide the ribbon threw the paper, to make it look neat.
last but not least look at my book just add die cuts, make cards to slide into pockets, and add what ever stickers, ,flowers, charms, to the book and when all done add the ribbon to the holes i use 3 diffrent ribbons to each hole total of 9 ribbon, but you may addass much you want. ty
