Instructions

  1. LEGS & BODY Round 1: With grey, 6 sc in a magic ring. Round 2: inc X 6. (12) Round 3: (sc 1, inc 1) X 6. (18) Round 4-5: sc around. (18) Round 6: dec X 4, sc 10. (14) Round 7: dec X 5, sc 4. (9) Stuff lightly. Round 8-14: sc around. (9) Fasten off. Stuff. Repeat Round 1-14 for the second leg. Do not fasten off. Round 15: Hold both legs together, making sure they face in the same direction, and join with a sl st. sc in the remaining 17 st. (18) Round 16: inc X 3, sc 3, inc X 6, sc 3, inc X 3. (30) Round 17-19: sc around. (30) Round 20: (sc 3, dec 1) X 6. (24) Round 21: (sc 2, dec 1) X 6. (18) Round 22: (sc 1, dec 1) X 6. (12) Round 23-25: sc around. (12) Stuff. Round 26: dec X 6. (6). Fasten off. Weave in yarn ends.

  2. BELLY PATCH Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring with white. Round 2: inc X 6. (12) Sew to the front of the body.

  3. ARMS (make 2) Round 1: 4 sc in a magic ring with grey. Round 2: inc X 4. (8) Round 3-15: sc around. (8) Fasten off. You can either stuff the arms very lightly or leave them unstuffed. Sew on either side of the body.

  4. TAIL Round 1: 3 sc in a magic ring with black. Round 2: inc X 3. (6) Round 3: sc around. (6) Round 4: (sc 1, dec 1) X 2. (4) Round 5-12: Join grey. sc around. (4) Fasten off. Sew to the seat of baby’s jump suit.

  5. HEAD Round 1: With light peach, 6 sc in a magic ring. Round 2: inc X 6. (12) Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) around. (18) Round 4: (2 sc , 1 inc) around. (24) Round 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) around. (30) Round 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) around. (36) Round 7-12: sc around. (36) Round 13: (sc 4, dec 1) X 6. (30) Round 14: (sc 3, dec 1) X 6. (24) Round 15: (sc 2, dec 1) X 6. (18) Round 16: (sc 1, dec 1) X 6. (12) Stuff. Round 17: dec X 6. (6) Embroider eyes at Round 8 and a tuft of hair on top of the head.

  6. EAR (make 2) Round 1: 3 sc in a magic ring with grey. Round 2: inc X 3. (6) Round 3: (sc 1, inc 1) X 3. (9) Round 4-7: sc around. (9) Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew.

  7. HOODIE Round 1-6: Follow pattern for Head with grey yarn. (36) Round 7: (sc 5, inc 1) X 6. (42) Round 8-9: sc around. (42) Round 10-16: ch 1, turn, sc 38. (38) Round 17: Change to white yarn, ch 2, turn, hdc 38. (38) Insert hook at the beginning of Round 17, join white and ch 15. Fasten off. Repeat on the other end of the round to make ties. Sew the lower center back of the hoodie on to the back of the body; sew ears on the hoodie.

  8. Finally, sew head to the body.
