It’s all in the feels
Living in an apartment complex you always get new neighbors and we can be loud at times so I made a sign letting people know our son is autistic and things that come with being a special needs family.

    Step 1

    Got any sign from dollar tree and painted it over with simple acrylic paints. Any color combinations will do.

    Once you allow the paint to dry, sketch on the design you like. I went with the universal puzzle piece symbol.

    Step 3

    I started painting again with acrylic paints and went with a mesh like splatter technique. I even let my son help with the splattering.

    Step 4

    Allow paint to dry and then spray shellac to seal it. I recommend two coats. And you’re done. Have fun with it

This is beautiful! I love it! (Partly because i’m Autistic, but also because the paint while drippy, is still in the shape of a puzzle piece!)
