Instructions

Firstly make sure you have all your materials at the ready: thin plywood strip, stick on badge pin, paint brush, and assortment of paints, scissors, pencil and a toothpick.

Lightly sketch the desired shape for the miniature artist's palette on to the plywood strip with a pencil. When content with the outcome, go ahead and cut it out.

Cut the toothpick in half as this will be your miniature paint brush.

Dip your fine paint brush into the paint (which you may want to use a piece of paper to contain samples) and scoop a small amount and place it on the miniature palette. Continue to do this with each of the colours whilst leaving spaces between each paint drop.

Colour in your toothpick to resemble a paint brush and glue it onto the artist's palette securely. Go ahead an leave the paint to air dry.

Once dry, peel the film of the badge pin to expose the adhesive side and press it onto the back of your palette.
