I make a lot of my own stuff (body lotions, lip balms, deodorant, etc), and many of these contain oils. I have stained a couple of shirts when working with the different oils, so I decided it was a good idea to have an apron overtop. I just basically cut out a shape I thought befitted an apro, hemmed it, and cut out strips for the neck and waist and rectangle for the pocket...easy peasy!
