You Will Need (8 things)

  • Egg(s)
  • 12 slices of Bread
  • 5 tablespoons Cinnamon
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Apricot Preserves
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • Butter
  • 1/3 cup Sugar

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

    FRENCH TOAST:
    INGREDIENTS:

    7 Eggs
    5 Tbsp. Cinnamon
    12 Slices of bread, (or you can use 6 hamburger buns like I used).
    Butter

    Put 1 tablespoon of butter in pan and let melt. Mix all eggs with cinnamon. Then take each bread and coat fully with egg mixture and place in pan. Cook until golden brown.

    Place all of your french toast slices on a cookie sheet. Coat the top of each one and put in oven for 6 minutes. When done take them out and let cool.

    APRICOT FILLING:
    INGREDIENTS:

    12 oz. Apricot preserves jam
    1 tablespoon Butter
    1/3 cup Sugar

    Put half of the 12 oz. apricot preserves, butter, and sugar in bowl and mix. Place in microwave and heat for 45 seconds. Take out and mix in the rest of the apricot preserves.

    PUT IT ALL TOGETHER:

    Place one slice of french toast on plate and drizzle the apricot mix on top(as much as desired). Place another slice on top and sprinkle some powdered sugar (optional).
