I had a sad, tired globe that I gave new life too with paint, doilies, and buttons. Now my globe is a work of art! Simply hot glue doilies and buttons to cover the globe. It's as easy as that!
Take the base off your globe. Paint that if you choose to do so.
Using hot glue and patience hot glue doilies in place randomly on to your globe. This will cut down on the amount of buttons you need to use.
Hot glue the largest buttons down first, filling in the holes with the smaller. I recommend putting the base back on before starting this step.
Fill in where necessary with small beads or buttons. You are done!
