After seeing all of the funky denim vests appearing lately, the refashionista-fairy whacked me over the head with her magic thimble, inspiration struck, I dove into my stash and created this bit of grooviness... …have dig through your hoard & create one of your own in minutes:

After seeing all of the funky denim vests appearing lately, the refashionista-fairy whacked me over the head with her magic thimble, inspiration struck, I dove into my stash and created this bit of grooviness... …have dig through your hoard & create one of your own in minutes:

Instructions

1. 

   Snag a dowdy denim jacket

2. 

   …ugh…pleated AND puffed sleeves!

3. 

   Flip it inside out & chop off those sleeves

4. 

   …grab some vintage lace

5. 

   …stitch it around the outside of the sleeve openings

6. 

   …& add bit of weirdness to the back for fun

7. 

   …combine the last remaining bit of lace with a safety pin, ribbon, needle & thread

8. 

   …and create a sweet brooch

9. 

   pair your fab new vest with a white blouse & your fave jeans and rock your groovy new Canadian tuxedo!
