Did not take too long. Took at while at first, but I've got it down to about 10 minutes.
Prices of supplies will vary depending where you are.

You Will Need
Depending on how much you want to add, I used these to attach the Thread to the lanyard
End Caps
I used Sewing Thread/Floss; But they have the Charm Loops at the craft store. Ben Franklin was a bit too expensive

Not too much, hard to determine the exact amount you'd need. Any color is fine, depending on how you'd like it to come out. I went clear.
