Neat finishes for Summer dresses
You can trace out your own all-in-one facing using any pattern when you don't want a separate neckline facing and armhole facing. They tend to pop out when you want these facings to remain hidden.

  • How to sew . All In One Facing - Step 1
    Step 1

These are the pieces I've drawn off the bodice of my basic dress pattern.
So voila, these are now my all in one facings for this bodice.
Both facings are at least 5cm below the armhole for a secure and clean finish.

You can see how cleanly the neckline and armhole edges are. There's no bulk underneath the bodice either.
There's no way this all-in-one facing will pop out unexpectedly. Ever.
