• 

  Step 1

  Paint your nails with a base color close to your skin tone. If you have short nails, opt for a sheer nude for a more natural look. If you're very fair, try a nude that's one or two shades darker.

  Step 2

  Using a small detail brush or a white striping polish, draw an almond shape horizontally across your nail. You can find striping polishes at any drugstore. The ones by Sinful Colors is both budget-friendly and easy to find.

  Step 3

  Color in the almond. Using the same method, draw and color in a blue circle. This will be the iris.

  Step 4

  Now add the pupil using a small dotting tool and black nail polish. A toothpick will work as well.

• 

  Step 5

  Go back in with the small detail brush and outline the eye shape with black nail polish.

• 

  Step 6

  With the same brush, paint the eyelashes straight out. Make sure to draw the outer lashes shorter than the center lashes. Do this for all nails.

  When you're done, seal the design with top coat and admire your artwork. :)
