An easy way to decoarte an old skateboard to hang up!
This skateboard I decided to make when I was helping my Bf move into his new house. I found it on his deck, it was pretty scratched up, just an old skateboard from forever ago, and asked if I could re-paint it to hang up in his new room.
So I removed the wheels (with a ratchet, very easy), then i sanded down until all the old design was off and the scratches were dissapeared.
I painted it with a coat of white paint first, then outlined the design in pencil.
Finally, I used the acrylic paints and painted out an adventure time drawing (cause we both love to watch that show together!!<3)
Then it can be hung on a wall, or you can add a top coat of paint, put the wheels back on, and use it!

lovely idea, i will try this out someday too, only for the top, i use when i'm working on the floor on my artwork a skateboard too because i'm a wheelie, but he's black on the top and it looks soooo boring i think i can do this with some paint on strong cottons and markers and then glue it on the top.
thank you for showing yours you have got inspirated me;-D
