This book shaped necklaces for girlfriend project is an excellent choice for Valentine’s Day, her birthday and other celebration day necklace design.

Instructions

1. 

   Step 1: make the inner page and cover 1st, measure out the size of the book you want to hang on your neck and draft the outline on foam; 2nd, cut out the mini-sized foam parts and glue their black side onto fabric with some space in between; 3rd, trim off excess fabric meanwhile leave a little extra around for edge covering; 4th, lift the foam back paper a little and tuck the fabric edge; 5th, peel off the back paper and stick it to leather; 6th, trim off excess leather and close the book cover to form a virtual spine.

2. 

   Step 2: make the book pages 1st, measure the rectangular paper shape on cardstock and cut it out; 2nd, fold it into accordion shape; 3rd, paint glue to inner spine; 4th, insert your pages in and let the spine part dry.

3. 

   Step 3: complete the book necklace design 1st, use an awl to punch a hole at the top corner; 2nd, attach a jump ring and add your chain onto it.
