Description

My fabulous cousin sent me a load of groovy photos from days gone by & as inspiration can found just about anywhere…I recreated that rad shoulder-free blouse! - with a few updates befitting my older self - Here’s what I did:

Instructions

  1. Small 101129 2f2014 04 21 062802 dscf9881

I grabbed a silky vintage blouse & some wide satin ribbon

  2. Small 101129 2f2014 04 21 062813 dscf9883

folded the blouse exactly in half with the shoulder, sleeve & side seams lined up then chopped out a semi-circle starting below the collar seam & ending under the shoulder seam (the blouse in the original photo had much larger cut-outs)

  3. Small 101129 2f2014 04 21 062827 dscf9885

then I simply bound the raw edges with the satin ribbon

  4. Small 101129 2f2014 04 21 062841 1

& my cool cut-out blouse was complete!
