A 36" diameter freeform crochet rug. Project was started as a means of using all of my yarn scraps. I crocheted 1/2" diameter tubes of various lengths and colors. I flattened the tubes and stitched them together as I twisted and turned them in a freeform manner. {I used a 36" diameter table as my template.}

gather all your yarn scraps
crochet various 1/2" diameter tubes of different lengths and colors
flatten the tubes with the palm of your hand. Place the flattened tubes together , twist and turn in a freeform manner...and stitch together.
