• 

  Step 1

  Begin by placing the wool between your thumb and index finger so the tail end hangs at the back of your hand

• 

  Step 2

  Now hold the tail end tightly, and loop the yarn on your palm in an under-over fashion: under the middle finger, over the ring finger and under your pinky.

• 

  Step 3

  Repeat the process going backwards and alternatively loop the wool around your pinky, over the middle finger, and around the index finger.

• 

  Step 4

  Now you have to repeat the process so there are two loops on each finger.

• 

  Step 5

  Once the yarn is around the pinky, pull the lower loop over the upper, and off your finger.

• 

  Step 6

  Continue this for all fingers until the tail is between your index and middle finger.

• 

  Step 7

  Begin again, looping and knotting, and that’s your knitting.

• 

  Step 8

  When you are finished, bring the tail end through all your finger loops.

• 

  Step 9

  Take the loops off your fingers and pull tight at the tail.

• 

  Step 10

  How it looks at the back of your hand.

• 

  Step 11

  Once you are done, turn it on the opposite side for the real look at your finger knit project!

hey it is really nice, but i don't really get how you "close" it :S can you help?

Hey Rouge,

As you knot the rings on each finger, transfer the one on your pinky to your ring, and pull out the lower. Transfer the one from the ring to the middle and so on. In the end you should have just one loop. Just pull the tail into the loop and knot it tight.
