Using PRINTABLE Shrinky Dink paper, print out an image of an 8-bit heart, about twice the size that you would like your finished necklaces to be. Free PDF template attached above. If you can't find printable Shrinky Dink paper, you can use regular shrink paper and draw or trace the heart.
Cut the heart out and cut it in half. Make sure to also cut little holes for the jump ring to go through. Bake, according to instructions. Takes about one minute.
Use a sharpie to color in the white sides. (Optional) Once the heart pieces have dried for a couple of hours, seal them with Mod Podge or clear nail polish if you want them shiny. We kept ours matte, so skipped that step. Add a jump ring and chain.
