Made with Perler Beads :)
These 3D Glasses are really easy to make but they do take a little while :/ Haha but they are really cute in the end :) My project was based off of Cat Morley's "3D Glasses Earings" but instead of using shrink paper, I used Perler Beads :D Enjoy!

  • How to bead a beaded object. 3 D Glasses! - Step 1
    Step 1

    Get your Materials :)

My perler beads came with a booklet and they were pre-organized (as is)! I bought them from Michaels for only 10.99!

Now you will need to make an outline on your graph paper! If you have a peg board, you could use that but I would personally use the graph paper because it's colored :) Use the Black marker to make dots. These dots represent the WHITE part of your Glasses. Red goes on the left, and Blue on the right.

Oh, and to help you guys, I put numbers above the first row. Your first row should be 15 dots long!

So, now this is the long part! You have to be very careful and patient when placing beads on your graph paper :)

Now, place your wax paper GENTLY on your glasses design! (If you do it fast the beads will shift :( )

Iron time! So you will need to Iron both sides of your creation so just remember to carefully take your design off the wax paper :) Oh, and dont leave your iron on your perler bead design like I did ^o^ It can easily burn, so ALWAYS hold your iron!

Now, to make this a necklace, you will need to take 2 toothpicks and stick them where you want your jump-rings to go.

Now, add the jump rings :) Be careful though!

Finnaly! You are DONE! You can use the same design to make different types of glasses to :)

I based my project off of Cat Morley's "3D Glasses Earings" and Gracey's "Ray Ban Wayfarer Necklace". So go check those projects out :)

I hope your 3D glasses turned out good
