Another week, another craft!!! This one is super special, cause wednesday is my 22th birthday! I decided that I wanted to wear something new, but since i'm a broke college student I actually don't have any spare cash to spend on an outfit to go to the university. Plus, next week are my finals and Wednesday I'm actually having two of them. So, I decided to wear something that would count up my years without actually saying it's my birthday. I was gonna write "It's my F***ing birthday", but since all of my teachers are bilingual, I decided against it. You can continue reading to see how I did my birthday shirt! Next week I'll be posting a sewing how to of the same shirt (it was too boring to leave it like that!!)

Materials: Paint. I wanted the candles to be purple, so I mixed blue and red, it was too dark so I added a little bit of white. Black marker. Brush. Pencil. Ruler (optional). I used the ruler to measure out the spaces between the lines. Not to make the actual lines.
I forgot to photograph the first step, but all you have to do is decide how far apart you want your lines. I did just every group of 4 and not each one. Afterwards, I started free styling the lines. (Cat Cameo)
After you have the groups of four, you wanna go back and start placing the fifth stick diagonally on top of the group.
I thought that just sticks looked super blank, so I decided to make them into birthday candles by adding a little flame on top of each one from the fours. I skipped the fifth cause a diagonal candle just doesn't look good, IMO.
To give it a more finished look, you wanna go around the candles with the black marker.
