Make your own Eco-friendly,wallet friendly buttons for an accessory to basically anything!
These are super easy and save money! not to mention great for that backpack of yours,it needs more buttons!!

    Step 1

    Get together your soda tab, bottle cap, Safety pin, and design for your button (I'm using a cherry blossom tree cut out from a music magazine)

    Put a thin layer of glue on the back of the piece of paper c:

    You should have something that looks like this!

    Set that aside and grab your safety pin and soda tab. c:

    This isn't the best picture, but you should open your safety pin and put the soda tab smooth face up.Put the safety pin through one hole of the soda tab and under the middle bit, and bring the head of the safety pin up through the remaining hole. Close the safety pin and set it aside.

    Go ahead and cut the excess paper around the bottle cap c:

    Place the safety pin attached to the soda tab inside of the bottle cap like so

    Take your pliers, and fold down the edges all around your bottle cap. This part isn't the most fun if you've got bassist hands like I do. But bare with me haha. This basically keeps the soda tab snug and secure c:

    Once you flip it over, you see that you've now got a new button for your collection! c:

    This bit is optional, but you can prop up your pin to add shine to it by adding a thin layer of Dimensional Magic, this stuff it amazing, just let it dry for 2-3 hours c: It's also very forgiving, because if you accidentally touch it, you can just add a few more drops on top and it looks brand new!
