Bento Things!!

Does anyone have any bento boxes up for sale? The ones I love best on Ebay and bento sites, are just a wee bit expensive- yay for my good taste! But i would LUV to buy or trade for one - and heck even if nobody is interested in that, let's see what some of you have stashed away!!! Just for the sake of kawaii - ness. ^.^

I have a really tiny Hello Kitty one but you can only fit like, a few grapes and maybe some cheese and crackers. It's more a snack box. But hey, it's cute!

sounds like the one i got lillian for her lunch. Got it off ebay for .99 cents! It was a big hit with her cause I knew she would eat anything out of it.

hahaha, clever sugarlishes!

they're just better versions of lunch boxes! I really want one too www.jbox.com is an ace site but theirs are like $16 up which is fine with me cuz that's only £8 but bit pricey in dollars, they're nice to look at though espeically the mamegoma set but that one is $35/£13!

p.s. OMG jbox have Hello Kitty vegetable cutters http://www.jbox.com/IMAGE/b5142 now that will get kids to eat vegetables!

Yeah i've seen some really awesome ones on ebay, but the ones i like are all like...$30! And then, I know once i HAD one, i'd just HAVE to have all the cute little accessories for it. heh heh. Maybe one day i'll luck up and come across one in a thrift store - you never know what you'll find! Tongue

Do it in the style of Junkyard Wars.... chop up some tupperwarre - paint it with something, and use lots of sticky tape!! And presto - new, recycled bento box! LoL...

So two hours ago I was like 'mmm I'll just add stuff I like into the cart to just see how much it is' BUT THEN I CLICKED CHECKOUT!

It's pretty blimmin good being here in old blighty (Britain) with the rain and that, and the pound! Only almost £30 for all the stuff I got and 7 of that had to be on p+p but I really don't think that's bad! Another treat for myself on getting this job, should start soon!

those boil egg molds are the cutest and most amazing thing ever! They also had those things that you can you to stamp out shapes in card but they were for seaweed to decorate rice balls with! bit too expensive though so I didn't buy some. Is it a bit much showing you all everything I bought!? but I'm excited!

You could make your own I suppose, with bits of tupperware (gotta love that word!!!!!! TUP-PER-WARE) and glass paint?

You can buy tupperware boxes that come with separaters, I don't know where but I have seen people that have bento blogs use them.
I got a cool bento for xmas and lots of little mayo tubs and stuff but I have never used it outside of the house!! I don't take lunch to work. I love them, but I don't really need it hehe

I will definatly use it, even if I have to get up early to make my bento fillings although I could do it the night before and heat it up at work (if they have a microwave) if I really wanted to, sandwiches bore the pants off me and places that do pasta in tubs are too expensive and the pasta is too cold for a winter lunch and I don't want chips or a pasty every day and the prices add up! Those egg things I just can't get over and the hello kitty mold thing! CINNAMOROLL!

Jenna - I'm exactly like that with the accessories thing, before birthday and xmas I'll be on that site telling people what I want (however only the boyfriend will probably get me lots of presents now that I'm old).

Heh. It's like you just can't help it! Once you have the box.... you just HAVE to have all the fun little things to go in it, or where would the fun be?! heh. I'd love to have a group of people with bentos and go on a cute little picnic somewhere.... ^.^ Maybe i'll save up and go ahead and get one.... darn the american dollar! Or maybe i'll wait until i fly to England to see my guy friend and then say c'mon adam.... pleeeeeeeease!! heh heh.
