Remember the Stash & Craft Swap?

... Yes? Well, it's now time for part 3! Part 2 was more than one year ago and I kind of miss it!

This swap is made of two parts: for the "Stash" part, everybody who signs up will be required to send their partner a SMALL amount of stash. As it’s tricky to set a value limit that fits all the countries and currencies represented here, let’s say the items should be light and small enough to fit in (for the EU) an international C5 envelope (162 x 229 mm, fits an A4 paper folded in half once) and (for the US) an A10 envelope (Willow, 6 x 9.5 inches). The envelope can be either a paper one or a padded one, depending on what you're sending.

PLEASE NOTE: there is no “fixed” amount of stash. Everything you can fit into an envelope of the specified size is fair play. Within that limit, you can send as much (or as little) as you want.

When the partners receive their envelope, the "Craft" part begins: every partner has now about a week's time to craft something she knows her partner will like with the stash she found inside the envelope. You can craft and send back as many items as you want/manage.

As we said the amount of stash is going to be small, so of course you're allowed (when not forced) to add to the project whatever material you need to complete it - but the idea should come from the very stash your partner sent you. When the item is complete, you send it back to the person who originally sent you the stash, and the swap is completed. As a rule of thumb, you get to keep all of the stash you didn’t use for the item (or items) you sent back.

SIGNUP CLOSES ON SUNDAY, APRIL 7th (GMT +1). This should allow people who are going away for Easter holidays to sign up as well.

PARTNERS WILL BE POSTED ON MONDAY, APRIL 8th (GMT +1).

SENDOUT DEADLINE FOR THE STASH PART IS MONDAY, APRIL 15th (that is: you can send out Tuesday to Monday, whenever you're ready).

SENDOUT DATE FOR THE CRAFT PART IS 10 DAYS AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE STASH. Again, if you're done within 3 days you're free to send back without waiting for the deadline.

!! IMPORTANT !!
This swap requires a double shipping fee. It is *vital* that we keep all the envelopes and final crafts *lightweight*. Remember: less is more. A few beads, some fabric, a piece of polyshrink are enough for your partner's creativity to get to work. Keep it simple.

To make the shipping fees cheaper I'm going to pair up people in the same country/area (last time it was EU/US).
