Removing tough stains

Grrr for a bizarre reason I decided to wear my favourite t-shirt in the world (white) to go and do some dying in textiles class today. I wore a lab coat type thing but still splashed myself repeatedly and now I have an off white coloured splooosh at the bottom of my shirt.

I'm really upset! I could always order another one but I don't have much money and I need this t-shirt to live. It makes me so happy just wearing it. It's this one:

Anyone know of any possible way to get it off?

That is an awesome tshirt =P

I dunno, doesn't it depend what you splashed it with? Would bleach work?

Why on earth did I put this in swap shop? <3

I think bleach turns things to a bit creamy and natural colour.. as opposed to white, doesn't it?

EDIT i just researched this and ended up on Yahoo Answers - does anybody else LOVE Yahoo Answers?-

Someone said they bleached blood out of a white cotton shirt, then put it in the wash and says it's sparkling white now.

It's worth a shot!

CILIT BANG!

no lol yeh i'd suggest bleach I doubt even cilit bang would get out that kind of dye. Just put a bit on an old cloth or something and dab it on gently and rinse it with water straight after.

I'd err on the cautious side off bleach, it tends to leave a yellowish colour on some white fabrics. The best thing I've ever come across for removing stains is a product that you can get from lakeland limited (there are stores all over uk, but be warned, if you cook you may become addicted to their catalogue) called white wizard - really could not praise it enough.
what kind of dye and what colour is it?

it's an acid based dye and I guess it's a mix of colours. It really is just an offwhiteish colour splash.

Problem sorted! I put it in soda crystals when it first happened and then it went through the wash (no bleach)
and now it looks just about Ok. not good as new, but not as obvious as before.
